Use accessible approaches when presenting information

Fostering a sense of belonging in higher education encompasses meeting the needs of all students, including those with disabilities. While institutions have a legal obligation to provide reasonable accommodations involving access to the campus, classroom, and course materials (McGinty, 2016), you can also make changes in your practices that all students benefit from while also meeting the specific needs of students with disabilities.
