  • How do you practice self-care?

    Taking time for self-care helps prevent burnout and promotes mental, emotional, and physical health. When we prioritize our self-care, we are better equipped to handle the demands of teaching, maintain positive relationships with students and colleagues, and provide quality education. ☺

    I think self-care involves an understanding of how our mind works and listening to our body (i.e.., adequate rest, nutrition, and exercise).

      Self-regulation is definitely important, and we even tell children to ‘listen to their bodies,’ but I know I’m guilty of ignoring my own needs! What care do you prioritize?
