Welcome to the ACUE Commons! The ACUE Commons provides a space for educators to connect and share experiences and resources in a flexible, interactive way. Community holds unique value in our profession, and each community that we are a member of is designed to serve us differently. With this in mind, share your thoughts and experiences about the impact of community on your life. Let’s initiate a meaningful dialogue on the power and significance of community and what you aim to gain from this collective experience.

Thank you, Barika! I’m looking forward to meeting and networking with ACUE community members nationwide.

Not only do I look forward to sharing resources, but I’m excited to hear about how the exchange of ideas and stories has helped shape your teaching and impacted your students.

Welcome everyone! As a long-time ACUE employee, this community has been a goal for quite some time. I am constantly amazed by the conversations I see between course-takers in the course and the insights I read in course-taker reflections. I’m looking forward to seeing those conversations take place in the broader community!

Community allows you to have others join you in a shared experience. As part of this experience with ACUE, this shared experience involves providing high-quality and caring teaching and learning experiences for every student and increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of our teaching, preparation, and course design. This journey also requires us to share our learning with fellow faculty and staff within our respective spheres of influence to expand our students’ meaningful and engaging learning experiences and continuously expand our pedagogical knowledge, skills, and dispositions.

    Hi,

Community, that powerful web of shared experiences and support, holds immense significance. It fosters collaboration, ignites creativity, and provides a springboard for individual growth. Here, within this forum, I see that power magnified. This collective knowledge base offers a wealth of perspectives and best practices, allowing me to learn from veterans and share my own insights. Thanks!
