Welcoming New Users: For some, this could be their first time engaging in the Commons; for others, it’s great to see you again! I want to warmly welcome our Early Adopters from Tri-C Cuyahoga Community College, who joined us earlier today.
Profile Photo Recognition: You might have noticed that our profile photos have a new look! You may see an ACUE badge and a circle around the profile photos. Our newer focus area is recognition, and what better way to recognize our ACUE community members who have earned their Certification (red circle) and Advanced Certification (gold circle) in the Effective Teaching Practice Framework than with a new frame?
Did you know that over a dozen studies show certified faculty have measurable benefits for their students, including better grades, higher course completion rates, narrowing equity gaps, and better year-over-year retention? Amazing work!
