    Fail: Incorrectly connected my OER (“Mastering”) to the course. Students could not access their e-text on the first day.

    Victory: After the students informed me of the issue, we had a pretty robust discussion of human and technological imperfections. I’m pretty sure that the message “I’m not a superhero, I’m just like you. We will continue to learn from each other”, came through. After contacting Pearson that day and with their assistance, I was able to recognize the issue and solved it. The students were very supportive.
