Empower others to recognize and respond to microaggressions

Help others respond to microaggressions

We can work toward mitigating the impact of microaggressions by helping students, staff, faculty, and leaders recognize and respond to microaggressions as allies and bystanders (Sue et al., 2019). Colleagues can learn to bring awareness to the microaggression, disarm the microaggression, and support students and peers who may have experienced a microaggression.
