Analyze engagement and completion data to inform course adjustments

On the macro level, successful completion of courses is essential to ensure students persist to graduation. On the course level, assignment completion predicts student performance. At the same time, lack of engagement within the course can provide evidence that you may need to intervene (Boettcher & Conrad, 2016). Establishing a routine of regularly monitoring your course completion data can provide you with insights into how your changes in instruction, assignment design, or other actions may or may not result in changes in completion rates.
