When students ask questions that I have not thought about before. These new perspectives make the experience unique no matter how often I’ve taught the same class. The questions also tell me that students are engaged and thinking critically.

I am grateful to have a job as an educator that keeps me connected with young people. I am always amazed that, no matter how many times I teach a class, every semester brings new questions, insights, and perspectives that I had not thought about before.
