<p>I entered the teaching profession with no education background, just content expertise. If I could go back to Day One, I would tell myself that it’s OK to be authentic and to figure things out along the way. I would say not to be like the professors I had, but instead to become the professor who is authentically me.</p>

In some ways, AI is already performing like a TA (for example, analytical AI supports us through plagiarism detection software). <p>The students had a blast! They interacted with personas such as Fidel Castro, Mao Zedong, Jeff Bezos, Catherine the Great, Napoleon, Vladimir Putin, Adolf Hitler, and Xi Jinping. I joined in as well and ended up having an amusing exchange with AI-Voldemort. <span>I&#8217;ve attached an excerpt of my exchange.</span></p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><span>Today, my Honors Leadership students will be blurring the line between the living and the dead by using Gen AI to converse with autocratic leaders. They&#8217;ll be challenging power, questioning control, and deciding if, when, and how that leadership style should be used. Maybe the conversations will be even more humanlike in 2027. </span></p>
