I love this. If money was no object, I would bring in riveting guest speakers that could speak on the real-world applications of the humanties in the job market. Hearing these things from me is one thing. Hearing them from a CEO or newly minted billionaire is a whole other level.

While not entirely “simple,” I have streamlined my feedback process. I provide whole-class feedback videos with embedded questions based on shared themes, strengths, and areas for improvement. Because students actually have to engage with the feedback, subsequent assignment submissions almost always show improvement and become easier to grade.
