It’s a classic baked cheesecake, once cooled, I add the apple pie filling (diced apple, cooked with some butter, brown sugar, cinnamon and a tiny amount of cloves) on top and sprinkle with toasted walnuts.

I host, about 4 people in addition to my family of 4. I lie to cook everything from scratch. Butter blanket Turkey, stuffing, marshmallow sweet potato casserole and green bean casserole. For dessert, Pecan pie is a must. This year I will make apple pie cheesecake in addition to the pie 🙂

For me, when I include different activities I notice that students are very well engaged. I try to incorporate in every class, few PPT slides, a video, a handout and a group (or in pairs) class activity that is all related to the material.
