We are encouraging our students to use AI to aid them in preparing written assignments, especially essays ,and activities that require the development of an idea. My concern is that some students already face challenges with language/ and the mechanics of grammar, promoting the use of AI, removes the need to independently think about how to compose a written document, An of course we must join the trend to encourage the students to use the tool , and once they do , attention to where their input ends and where the AI intercepts is becoming the task
