Also, Shalini, I have found that many of my students are not clear on what critical thinking is. I provide a link in my syllabus with an explanation (definition), characteristics, and my expectation of critical thinking and reflection when an assignment is required. I used AI (CoPilot) to assist me. Providing a rubric has been helpful for me.
