I’m reading Teach Students How to Learn by Saundra Yancy McGuire. Im finding it particularly insightful for working with first year and non traditional students who are “new” to higher education and who do not have study skills that we expect. Turns out no one ever taught them to study!

Its a bit older, but I also plan to read Powerful Principles of Instruction by Stephen L Yelon this summer to help inspire more ideas to switch up lectures!
