I feel like Spring has it’s own set of challenges. Right now the weather is already impacting attendance. For my college students I feel like Spring is challenging because there are so many distractions. For example, I just love going outside and it is hard to be inside studying when you want to be outside playing. For my High School students you have some that buckle down so they finish strong and some that are distracted. Senioritis is a factor too. Some will stop working all together and it is hard to convince them they have to pass in order to graduate.

Wednesday, I had my students do some Spring cleaning to prepare for the semester. I look forward to getting back to my college classes and taking a class too. I am using my snow days to read the book for the book study so I will be better prepared for the spring too.
