Jorge, I agree with you on the learning technology side of things. I was blessed when Covid hit because one of my co-workers and I decided to go to any and every training our campus had before Covid. At the time I taught HS and they were going to give every student a Chromebook. We were afraid we wouldn’t be able to keep up with our techie students. We learned so much and soon found out that our students didn’t even use email! Shocked by this and determined to still be student centered we kept on learning as much as we could. It was so overwhelming. At one point I looked at my co-worker and said, “Our goal will be to walk away with one thing we learned. If we learn more that is wonderful.” That worked for us because we would get so confused.

We felt bad for all of the students and staff that had to implement online only classes on the spot. I know you did great and made it work. Cheers! I hope you had a wonderful beginning to your New Year too.
