To wind down with students, I like to keep it lighthearted. First, we do a quick “what went right, what went wrong” session—kind of like a mini roast, but all in good fun. Then, I thank them for sticking it out (because let’s be honest, sometimes we’re all just trying to make it to the end). And finally, I remind them that next semester, we’ll either be best friends or they’ll pretend they never met me. Either way, it’s a win!
