    1 Bag of frozen pearl onions

    Béchamel Sauce:

    –5 tablespoons of butter

    –1/4 cup all-purpose flour

    –1 quart of whole milk

    –Salt, pepper, and nutmeg to taste

    Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Slowly add flour, whisking into the melted butter until smooth; cook until it’s a light golden color. Increase heat to medium-high and slowly whisk in the milk to form a thickened roux. Simmer until flour taste is gone, then season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Thaw a bag of frozen pearl onion, then heat in micro until hot. Add to sauce and serve!
