My go-to recipe is: Classic Easy Stuffing

    Ingredients

    • 1 loaf of day-old bread (French, Italian, sourdough, or Challah), cubed (about 10–12 cups)
    • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
    • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
    • 3 celery stalks, diced
    • 3 carrots, diced
    • 3 garlic cloves, minced
    • 1 tsp dried sage
    • 1 tsp dried thyme
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • 1/2 tsp black pepper
    • 2 1/2 cups chicken or vegetable broth (adjust for moistness)
    • 2 large eggs, beaten

    Instructions

    1. Prep the Bread: Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C). Spread bread cubes on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for about 10 minutes, stirring halfway, until slightly dry. Let cool.

    2. Cook the Vegetables: In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Sauté onions, celery, and garlic until softened (about 5–7 minutes). Stir in sage, thyme, salt, and pepper.

    3. Combine the Ingredients: Place the bread cubes in a large mixing bowl. Pour the cooked vegetables over the bread and toss to combine.

    4. Add Liquid: In a separate bowl, whisk together the chicken broth and beaten eggs. Gradually pour the mixture over the bread, tossing gently to coat. The bread should be moist but not soggy—add broth as needed.

    5. Bake the Stuffing: Transfer the stuffing mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Cover with foil and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15–20 minutes, until the top is golden brown.

    6. Serve: Let cool for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy the warm, yummy goodness!

This recipe is endlessly customizable—add sausage, apples, cranberries, or mushrooms to make it your own! 🍁

    Happy Thanksgiving!!!
