One thing I’m looking forward to this semester in my art appreciation classes is to continue to learn about art through the eyes of my students, especially in light of the current controversy surrounding the opening ceremony of the Olympics. It’s a great chance to explore how art and cultural events intersect and provoke different reactions. I’m excited to engage with new students and hear their fresh perspectives on these timely and fascinating topics!
