My favorite cookie and holiday tradition for our family is candy cane cookies. They are a shortbread cookie and I don’t like shortbread cookies but I love these. When it is cold I love any flavor hot tea or a hot toddy and a cookie.

BTW: PIcs below. Last night I won first place in a dessert contest for my school district! I made a Raspberry Walnut Cake. That is my superintendent to the left of me and you can barely see the over 6′ trophy I get to keep in my classroom for the year to the left of him.
