I’ve been reading Art as Experience by John Dewey and would love to discuss its exploration of aesthetics and the role of art in everyday life. I’m particularly interested in how to integrate experiential learning into college teaching and how art can serve as a bridge to personal growth. Discussing ways to encourage students to see creative expression as a vital part of their education would also be incredibly rewarding. This book offers a fascinating lens on the transformative power of art in teaching, which I think aligns beautifully with the spirit of the ACUE Read-Along.
